Main advantages of the HAKL MK-1 Model:
– Electronic safety cut-out against the burning of the heating element by the penetration    of an air bubble to the water supply system (e.g., when the water supply is stopped);
– Alarm light for a voltage drop on the electrical network; flashing signals a drop
   in voltage, as well as incorrect functioning of the heater;
– Thermal overload protection shuts down the heating element if the temperature of the    inlet water increases, in order to prevent subsequent boiling of the water and damage
   to the heating element;
– Level of protection IP45 ensures safe operation in a wet environment,
   meaning, according to the STN standard, that the heater may be installed directly in a
   shower box or in an open area (pergola, summer terrace...);
– Minimum water pressure on operation is set from 0.05 Mpa (0.5 bar), also allowing
   installation of the heater by connecting it to a variable pressure water treatment device.

the manufacturer does not recommend using
more taps at the same time.

Operation of the heater:
The operation of the heater is very simple; heating is automatically activated by turning on the hot water tap at the mixer tap. A red light on the front cover of the heater signals the activation of water heating. The highest heating of water is reached at the point that the signal light turns on. The water temperature drops in proportion to an increase in the flow of water. The required water temperature may be set by increasing the hot water flow or mixing with cold water. The heater is supplied with a special low-pressure water tap and this combination is intended for direct installation to a single consumption point, on a cold-water inlet. The HAKL MK-1 water heater is a pressure model; it may therefore also be connected to a standard water supply tap. The heater has no built-in tank and heats water instantly, on demand.
