HAKL VA Model Series

Electric, thermostatically controlled tank water heater intended for connection to a water supply system or using a gravity-feed water supply.

Possibility of water heating when connected using a gravity-feed supply

HAKL VA works reliably even connected using a gravity-feed supply with approximately 2 m water head and connection to the electric network with 6 A protection.

Main advantages of the HAKL VA Model:

– The heater tank is made of plastic, which significantly extends the operating life of the
   heater. The material the tank is made of meets stringent hygiene and safety tests;
– The plastic tank is also characteristic with very good insulating attributes that minimises    the loss of heat from the heated water;
– Minimum operating pressure of the water is very low, ensuring reliable operation
   even if connected to a gravity-feed supply with a 2 m water head;
– Thermostatic regulator allows setting the heating of water up to 80 °C;
– Low power consumption of the heater allows protection from 6 A.

Product description

The required temperature of the hot water is set by turning the thermostat button to the relevant symbol. The "star" symbol is for anti frost safety operation and turns on the heating if the water temperature reduces below 7 °C in order to prevent freezing and subsequent damage to the tank. By turning the thermostat button to the "E" symbol, the water temperature reaches 55 °C. The maximum heating of water is set to 80 °C. In spite of a small water tank (7.5 l), by mixing water at 60 °C with cold water, one gains approximately15 l of 40 °C water. The time for water heating depends on the power consumption of the element, the required temperature set and the inlet water (see Technical parameters table).
